READY TO APPLY? HERE’S AN OVERVIEW OF OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS:

1. Start by learning about Gateway America through our website, or talk with faculty and current or former students and parents.
2. Fill out the Potential Parent/Student Survey – this is an easy way to introduce yourself to Gateway America. Tell us a little bit about who you are, your education goals and your communication preferences.
3. Visit Gateway America – After you’ve completed the first two steps, contact us at 346 843 2680 or email Info@GatewayAmericaPrep.com to schedule a visit. Come see for yourself what a day in the life of a student is like!
4. Review the Parent and Student Handbook to understand expectations for both students and families. The handbook is full of useful information, ranging from required supplies, school day schedule and tuition payment.
5. Complete the Gateway America faculty interview. The student and parent will meet with our faculty to discuss the student’s goals, student and parent expectations and explore whether Gateway America is the right fit for the child.
6. Complete the Entrance Essay. Speak to the administration about details. Please return the essay.
7. Complete Application Forms and submit teacher recommendations. These can be picked from Gateway after all other forms are completed.

EVALUATION PROCESS

Prospective students are evaluated in several areas to assess their academic ability and other factors. The process includes diagnostic test results, previous academic records, teacher recommendations and the student/parent/Gateway interview.
For families and kids feeling daunted by the process, rest assured that our main goal is to ensure each student will be successful at Gateway America. Students will benefit most from our program if they have a desire to excel academically and are also seeking physical, emotional and spiritual growth.
